Weather

How are outdoor activities affected by rain or lightning?

Outdoor activities, such as Swimming will continue in light rain, as long as conditions are safe and the weather does not significantly impede training.
Our primary concern is lightning risk. We follow guidance from the National Environment Agency (NEA), the school’s lightning warning system and on-site observations. If there is lightning risk or torrential rain, the Camp Asia team will cancel and reschedule affected sessions to ensure the safety of all participants.

What happens to training during hazy conditions?

We monitor air quality closely using the 3-hour PSI readings published by the National Environment Agency (NEA), focusing on Singapore, the West and Central regions.
Based on the latest readings before training:
PSI < 100: Training proceeds as usual.
PSI > 100: Training will be moved indoors to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
