Creative Coding
Using Scratch and other block-based programming tools, campers explore the exciting world of coding through stories and games.
Young coders will bring their ideas to life by creating interactive stories and multimedia games, while learning the basics of coding, problem-solving and computational thinking. Campers build confidence and creativity as they discover new coding skills. On the final day, they will showcase their skills by creating their personal project.
Using Scratch, GDevelop and other beginner-friendly game development platforms, campers learn to code by creating their own versions of classic video games.
New coders are introduced to the basics, while more experienced campers will explore new techniques to expand their skills. As they design original artwork, build levels and add their own creative spin to well-known games, campers develop a strong foundation in coding while gaining insight into the game design process.
* All equipment is provided. Please do not send your child to camp with a computer or tablet.

DESMOND SEETOH: Robotics & Design Instructor
Desmond teaches Design at Stamford American International School and has led students to multiple robotics championships in Singapore, the United States, and Taiwan. With over a decade of teaching experience and a strong passion for problem-solving, Desmond believes that learning is most effective when it is fun, engaging, and hands-on.
CORT WEE: Coding & Electronics Guru
Cort is an experienced software developer with over 19 years of experience in Electrical Engineering and Programming and believes that everyone can be a “maker.” He has spent many years inspiring children to create through hands-on learning in robotics, game design, electronics, coding, and 3D design.
