Christo has performed internationally for corporate events and due to his excellent versatility, Christo has done many sessions for film and television both as a vocalist and producer.
Camp Rock!
(Ages 7-10 & 11-14)
Camp Rock welcomes budding superstars to a week of modern music mash-ups and hands-on experience with guitars, drums, vocals and dance!
Campers will be grouped into mini rock bands and spend one full day learning each instrument or discipline.
The week culminates in an epic concert for parents (and other campers) as the bands showcase their new technical skills, showmanship and rockin' sound.
Powered by International Institute of Music Art (iiMA) - a group of experienced working musicians and educators who can be found rocking-out at events and venues across Asia - there is no better place to cultivate a child's skills and passion for modern music.
Learning Outcomes:
Campers will build self-confidence, boost creative thinking and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of music ensemble work. All participants will benefit from exercises in active listening, teamwork & basic music theory… but most of all it will be fun!
*Camp Rock caters to beginners (who have never heard of a chord or a chorus) through to experienced technicians (who can already strum and groove to the beat)!

Beverly Lim: Camp Rock Vocals & Performance
Beverly Lim has recently returned from representing Singapore in the megahit show, SING CHINA! Beverly was a finalist and has returned to join the Camp Rock team. Beverly also performed as the headline act for the National Day Parade 2019, performing Katy Perry’s “Rise” which was broadcast to millions around Singapore. As well as being an amazing singer and performer, Beverly is a passionate vocal tutor and will lead our campers in all aspects of vocals & performance!

Tommy Dean: Camp Rock Percussionist
Tommy Dean is our resident multi-instrumentalist and passionate student of the musical arts for the last 10 years. As our drum instructor, Tommy will instill musicality and rhythm into our campers, which will hold them in good stead for the other modules within the camp. Drawing on his experience as a high-level tutor in advanced mathematics and chemistry, he will deliver our program with integrity and precision!

Luke Buirski: Camp Rock Lead Guitarist
Luke Buirski is an Australian virtuoso guitarist & singer-songwriter, best known for his complex finger style technique and energetic performances. After graduating from LASALLE College of the Arts with a degree in music specializing in guitar, Luke has gone on to perform with local and international artists including LMFAO, The Jackson Twinz All Star Band, Jeremy Boon (Zouk Singapore) and Anna Hristenko (The Voice Russia). Luke has been teaching guitar for the last 10 years and is perfectly suited to hand down the sacred knowledge of Rock to our Campers!

Ms. Li is our resident opera singer and trained at the prestigious Konservatorium of Music, Vienna. She completed her degree in classical voice and is well-placed to pass on her knowledge and support the successful running of the camp.

Information to note prior to booking:
These details apply to all camps and on both campuses.
Dropping Off
Activities commence at 9am, but we have free drop off from 8.30am where children can join in a free choice of activity.
Medical
We have a full-time nurse on site for every camp week. Our nurses are there to administer medication and first aid if needed. They will operate from our school health centres. The nurse is available Monday morning to collect any medications and speak to parents before camp starts. Our Camp Asia team are all first-aid trained.
Food
Healthy Lunch and snacks (cooked fresh daily) are included in the cost of your camp. If your child is a vegetarian, does not or cannot eat beef, pork, seafood, dairy or eggs or has other dietary needs, simply tell us beforehand in your child’s details online. Please also note that Camp Asia has a no nut policy.
